A 30-second video on the homepage that holds visitors for two minutes

Most homepages have 3 seconds to make their case. A 30-60 second animation above the fold or next to the lead form turns scrollers into readers — without forcing them to read.

Why this works

Why a video in the page lifts both SEO and conversion

A page video is a 30-60 second animation that lives inside an existing page — hero of the homepage, top of a service page, beside the CTA on a product page. It is not a standalone explainer. It is designed to read together with the headline, the form, and the surrounding copy.

The point is dwell time. When the average visitor sits on a service page for 38 seconds, every additional 60 seconds matters — Google reads it as "people found what they needed", and the page starts to climb. We saw this on a Hebrew-market clinic page: 8 weeks after the video went live, the page moved from position 14 to position 6 on its main keyword, no other changes.

I install the video the right way: lazy-loaded YouTube embed or self-hosted on Bunny CDN, VideoObject schema, a poster image that does not block the LCP, and analytics events for play, pause, and completion. Most studios drop a video on top of the page; I rebuild the page section around the video.

Built to sit inside your design

Palette, type, and tone match the surrounding section so the video reads as part of the page, not a banner stuck on top.

Silent auto-play, audio on tap

Plays muted by default — Chrome and Safari require it. Audio activates on first user interaction.

Installed without breaking Core Web Vitals

Lazy load + CDN + proper poster image. LCP stays under 2.5s, CLS stays at zero.

A/B-testable from day one

I can produce 2-3 hook variants for split testing different openings, lengths, or CTAs on the same page.

Process

How we produce

  1. 1

    Page audit

I read the existing page, look at Search Console data and any session recordings you have, and identify exactly what the page is failing to communicate.

  2. 2

    Script + storyboard

A script written for this specific page — not a generic explainer. It picks up where the headline stops and ends at the form.

  3. 3

    Production

Animation tuned to the site palette and brand. 1080p, 30 fps, studio voiceover. No off-brand stock illustrations.

  4. 4

    Embedding + tracking

I install the embed, add VideoObject schema, set up GA4 events for play/pause/complete/click, and send you the before/after Web Vitals.

Common questions

FAQ

How long should a page video be?

30-45 seconds for a service page where the visitor is still skimming. Up to 90 seconds for a product page where they are already considering. Anything longer loses people.

Will it slow my site down?

No. I lazy-load the iframe or self-host on Bunny CDN. The video does not download until the user scrolls to it, so LCP is not affected.

Can it auto-play?

Yes — muted. Browsers block sound-on auto-play. Audio kicks in when the visitor taps the player.

Can I use the same video on more than one page?

Yes. Many clients put the same video on the homepage, the About page, and a few service pages. License is unlimited inside your domain.
