From a 3D game in high school to two SEO agencies.
Hi, I am Artur Kalandarov. My background is programming - I built a 3D game as my final high school project, then went on to graduate Mamram, the Israeli military's elite computer science school. The technical foundation came first; everything else was built on top of it.
In the early 2000s I founded my first business - DeadSeaMineral.com - selling Dead Sea cosmetics globally. The budget for paid advertising was limited, so I taught myself SEO out of necessity. Within months the site was ranking on the first page of Google for hundreds of competitive terms. That hands-on experience - learning by doing on a real, revenue-bearing site - is the foundation of everything I have done since.
By 2003 I had moved into internet marketing as a full career. 23 years later I am still doing it - through every shift in how Google ranks pages, how customers research products online, and how content gets discovered. 21 of those years have been spent specifically on SEO and organic promotion. In 2009 I founded MySEOAssistant in the United States; in 2013 I founded Shivuknet in Israel, and Shivuknet has been my baby ever since.
In 2014 I added video production to the service stack. Clients had built strong sites and good SEO, but they were leaving traffic on the table by not having video. Video distributes on platforms (YouTube, social) that link back to your site, drives engagement on your pages, ranks in search results in its own right, and converts better than text. Adding video to the agency was not a "diversification" - it was finishing the system.
The thesis behind Shivuknet has been the same since day one: stop selling SEO, web design, and video as separate services. Most agencies do, and the result is fragmentation - the SEO team does not know what the video team is producing, the web team builds sites that the SEO team has to clean up, and nothing reinforces anything else. Sell instead one integrated system, where the website is built right for SEO, the SEO is fed by content and video, and the video distributes to bring traffic back to the site. The pieces compound.
The proof is in the numbers. On one project the SEO and content system I built generated a peak of 657 organic leads in a single day. That is not a vanity stat from a deck - that is what happens when you stop treating SEO, content, and video as separate services and start running them as one machine.
The services I offer are tuned for an optimal cost-to-value ratio for clients. I do not play the inflated-price game of a traditional production house, and I do not race to the cheap end that compromises quality - I aim for the optimum.
