GBP Posts management — fresh posts every week with a CTA
GBP Posts are short updates that appear at the top of the Maps profile and inside the Local Pack. Most owners stopped posting after 3 attempts. I publish 4 or 8 Posts a month consistently, each with image and CTA button, plus a monthly Insights report. From ₪380/month (4 Posts) · ₪680/month (8 Posts).
Why Posts matter
- ✓ A profile with active Posts ranks higher than a quiet one — Google reads this as a "live" signal
- ✓ Posts appear in the Local Pack with image and CTA — a second visibility slot beyond regular ranking
- ✓ A CTA button (Order, Book, Learn more) drives direct conversion without the customer leaving Maps
- ✓ After 30 days without a Post, ranking starts declining — consistency matters more than peak intensity
GBP Posts are short updates (1500 characters) with an image and a CTA button. They sit at the top of the Maps profile and inside the Local Pack for 7 days, then move to a dedicated Posts tab. Used consistently, they are the strongest activity signal Google reads off the profile.
The process runs on a weekly content calendar tied to the business — special offer, new product, event, holiday, customer success story. Each Post lands with a 600×600 image, 150-200 character copy in marketing language, and a CTA button matched to the actual goal of the Post (Order, Book, Sign up, Get the offer).
A monthly Insights report tracks clicks per Post, CTA presses, prior-month comparison, and a mix recommendation for next month's plan. The 8-Post package fits businesses with high activity — restaurants, ecommerce stores, busy salons. The 4-Post package fits professional services where one strong Post a week is enough.

Hyperlocal content
Each Post pulls a neighborhood name or relevant local event — the signals that lift local ranking.
Monthly Insights report
Clicks per Post, CTA conversion rate, comparison to prior month — and a content plan for next month based on the numbers.

FAQ
What is the right Post frequency?
4 Posts a month (once a week) is the practical minimum for ranking impact. 8 Posts (twice a week) fits high-activity businesses with new content to share. More than 8 a month becomes noise — customers stop reading, ranking gains taper.
How long does a Post live?
Regular Posts (Update / What's New) stay 7 days at the top of the profile, then move to a Posts tab. Offer-type Posts have a start and end date you set. COVID-19 type Posts are deprecated.
Can the same Post run on Facebook?
Not exactly the same. GBP Posts are written for local intent ("special offer for residents of [city]"), Facebook Posts are written for the community. I sometimes adapt one to the other, but each platform needs slightly different copy.
