3D animation that shows what is inside the product
Some systems cannot be filmed: a product that does not exist yet, medical equipment that breaks when you open it, an energy system that stops working when exposed. I build the animation in Blender with AI fill for backgrounds and textures, and show the product at a precision filming cannot deliver.
How do you present an industrial product that does not exist physically yet?
- ✓ Lets you show internal parts of a product you cannot physically cut open.
- ✓ Carries quality and premium feel that fits industrial and complex products.
- ✓ You can present the product before it physically exists — in the development stage.
- ✓ Fits trade shows, B2B marketing videos, and industrial landing pages.
A 3D explainer animation uses full 3D models to show a product, machine, building, or industrial process in real volume. Unlike flat 2D animation, 3D lets you rotate the product, cross-section it, build complex sets, and show internal mechanics. The format fits manufacturers, industrial companies, commercial real estate, and startups presenting a new patent. It is one of the more expensive categories in business animation, but also the most impressive.
I work in Blender (the open-source industry standard) and combine with After Effects for final compositing. You send CAD files or product photography, and I build the 3D model, texture it, and light the scene (alongside a 3D freelancer I work with). Where it makes sense, I use Runway or Kling 2 to accelerate generating environment backgrounds or advanced textures, but the line and aesthetic stay at industry grade. Not pure AI, but a hybrid production that saves time without giving up quality.
Final delivery is a 30-120 second piece in 1080p or 4K, with professional voiceover, music, and effects. You also receive stills from the 3D model: print-quality static images usable in the catalog, on the site, and in ads. When you want to show a new product version in the future, I open the project, swap parts in the model, and produce an updated version at a fraction of the original cost.
Full 3D model
I build a complete 3D model of your product — not just a single frame but a reusable asset for future productions.
Internal cross-sections
Show internal parts, assembly and disassembly, how components connect.
Stills alongside the video
Print-quality static images from the 3D project — usable in the catalog, on the site, and in printed ads.
Future flexibility
When you launch a new model, I open the existing project and update at a fraction of the original cost.
How we produce
- 1
Source material
You provide CAD files, photos, or a physical sample of the product. Without these I cannot build an accurate model.
- 2
Modeling + texture
Build the model in Blender, apply materials and textures, review key frames against your reference.
- 3
Animation + lighting
Animate camera and moving parts, add cinematic lighting, build the visual environment around the product.
- 4
Composite + delivery
Combine layers in After Effects, add voiceover and music, export in 4K, deliver stills and source files.
3D explainer starting price
Price depends on model complexity, video length, scene count, and lighting quality. Exact quote after reviewing source material.

FAQ
What do you need to start a 3D production?
CAD files of the product are best. If not, photos from 3 angles plus accurate dimensions are enough. Sometimes a physical sample for scanning works too.
How long does a 3D piece take?
3-6 weeks. The longest stage is building the model — once it is ready, additional future animations cost much less.
Can I get the 3D model for use in the catalog or website?
Absolutely. The package includes print-quality stills, and the model file itself is available for future use at an additional fee.
