Remove URLs and sensitive content from the Google index
Old content, personal data, or test pages still appear in Google after they were deleted from the site. The GSC Removals tool clears them for 6 months only — I make sure they do not come back, via noindex or permanent 410, and monitor for the full 6 months. ₪220 per removal request.
Why proper URL removal matters
- ✓ The Removal Tool drops results from search within 24-48 hours — but only for 6 months. Without noindex or 410, the URL returns
- ✓ Personal or sensitive data left in Google creates legal exposure and damages customer trust quickly
- ✓ Old content ranking on brand queries masks the new version and cuts CTR by 15-30%
- ✓ 6-month monitoring catches re-indexing from cache or external sources before it becomes a problem
GSC's Removals tool drops a URL from search results inside 24-48 hours — the fastest method Google offers. The trap is the time limit: removal lasts 6 months, no more. If those six months pass without a noindex, a 410, or the file genuinely gone from the server, the URL slides back into the index on its own.
The work runs on two tracks at once. The Removal Request goes into GSC for immediate disappearance from search. In parallel, the root cause gets fixed in code — 410 Gone on the server if the data is permanently deleted, or noindex on the page if it still exists but should not show up. With both tracks done, the URL stays gone past month six in most cases.
Through the six months the URL gets a regular daily-to-weekly check: site: search, URL Inspection, and external archives like Wayback and archive.today. Any attempt to resurface triggers a fresh Removal Request inside 24 hours and a reinforced 410 in code.
Submit Removal Request
Request submitted in GSC with clear justification, ingestion confirmed, removal from search verified within 24-48 hours.
Permanent noindex or 410
In parallel with the Removal Request I implement noindex or 410 Gone so the URL does not return after 6 months.
6-month monitoring
Weekly checks in site: search, URL Inspection, and external archives to confirm the URL stays gone.
Alert if the URL returns
If the URL tries to come back I resend the Removal Request within 24 hours and reinforce the noindex/410 in code.
How we work
- 1
Map URLs to remove
We map the URLs together — personal data, old content, test pages — and decide whether removal is temporary or permanent.
- 2
noindex / 410 in code
410 Gone in the server or noindex on the page applied BEFORE the Removal Request, so the URL cannot return automatically.
- 3
Submit Removal Request
Request submitted in GSC, confirmation verified within 24-48 hours, URL confirmed gone from site: search.
- 4
6-month monitoring
Weekly checks, external archive review, immediate response if the URL tries to come back.
URL removal pricing
Includes the Removal Request, permanent noindex/410, and 6 months of full monitoring.

FAQ
6-month removal or permanent?
GSC's Removals tool itself removes for 6 months only — that is the tool, not a choice. For permanent removal you need a 410 Gone on the server (if the data is deleted) or noindex on the page (if the data exists but should not appear in search). I do both in parallel so the URL does not return.
What if the content is also in another archive?
GSC's Removals tool handles only Google's index — not the Wayback Machine, archive.today, or other search engines' caches. For external archives you need to contact each service directly with a removal request. During the 6 months I check those archives and report so you can act.
Does the Removal Tool help with RTBF (Right To Be Forgotten)?
The standard tool is for fast removal but is not sufficient for RTBF in the legal sense. For Right To Be Forgotten (GDPR / Israeli Privacy Protection Law), Google has a dedicated "Personal Information Removal" form that requires proof of identity and legal justification. I can submit the standard form for immediate handling, but a full RTBF request usually needs legal counsel in parallel.
